Lima 42K is one of the most anticipated marathons in the region, attracting runners from all over the world. With a route that encompasses the best of Lima, the race offers a perfect combination of athletic challenge and cultural discovery.
The race is endorsed by the Peruvian Athletics Sports Federation (FDPA) and is certified by World Athletics and AIMS, which allows for qualification to other world-class events such as the Boston Marathon, provided you run under the qualifying times.
Additionally, since 2025, it has been part of the Mega Finisher South America Run Series, an international circuit of marathons and half-marathons held in 5 South American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay).
Recorrido: The Lima 42K Marathon will take you through a spectacular route that begins in the heart of the city, in the Miraflores district, and extends along the coast, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The route is designed to highlight the beauty of Lima, including key landmarks such as the Miraflores boardwalk (Malecón), the vibrant historic center, and the city's iconic squares and avenues.
